The sixteenth edition of SICAM, the International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Semi-finished Products for the Furniture Industry, a landmark event for professionals in the furniture industry, concluded in Pordenone. From October 14 to 17, 2025, the fair brought together more than 700 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries, confirming it as an international hub where innovation, materials and design meet to design the trends of the future.
For FIMET, the 2025 edition represented much more than just participation in a trade fair: it was an opportunity to present itself in a completely new light, a concrete sign of the process of strengthening the brand's identity and presence across all communication channels.
The new stand, with its simple and functional design, perfectly interpreted the values of clarity and consistency that guide FIMET technical and aesthetic research today. Clean lines, sober materials, and a rational division of space contributed to creating a welcoming and orderly environment, in which every detail—from the arrangement of products to the interior graphics—immediately communicated the company's philosophy. A place designed not only to exhibit, but also to engage in dialogue with long-standing customers, partners, designers, and new international contacts.
The star of the stand was the new Millenovecentottantasei handle model ( abbreviated to '86), created in collaboration with designer Robby Cantarutti and presented in an exclusive preview to visitors at the fair. With its fluid lines inspired by Streamline art, '86 perfectly expresses the search for continuity between form and function that has always characterized FIMET: a product that combines tactile softness, modernity, and refined design.
Participation in SICAM 2025 proved to be a valuable time for meeting and discussion, useful for consolidating relationships, gathering feedback and rereading market challenges with new awareness.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, helping to make this edition a success. In the coming weeks, we will take a closer look at the history and design of '86, symbol of FIMET new direction FIMET our constant evolution.
