Fluidity and continuity define the language of the new '86 handle. Its sinuous lines, inspired by Streamline art, evoke speed, dynamism and modernity. It's not just about aesthetics: to the touch, the handle gives a soft, flowing caress, transforming the daily act of opening into a sensory and natural gesture.
'86 is also a symbol. With it, Fimet chooses to celebrate its forty years of activity in the way it most belongs: by creating. It is a project that springs from memory and looks to the future, combining the strength of its origins with a contemporary vision, always in dialogue with the evolution of design.
Presented in an exclusive preview at SICAM 2025, the handle marked an important moment for the company, telling through its design the identity and history of Fimet, projected toward new horizons.
Signing the lines is Robby Cantarutti, an architect and designer who for years has been exploring an essential language capable of combining rigor and naturalness. With his Buttrio studio he has developed projects in architecture, interiors and industrial design, always guided by research that leads to subtraction, to the essence of the gesture.
This is not his first collaboration with Fimet: over time, Cantarutti has become a familiar presence, almost "at home," sharing values and vision with the company. With '86, this creative dialogue is renewed once again, resulting in an object that encapsulates memory, function and poetry.

The study of different cultures of living, changes in daily living, and analysis of the behavior of various cultures is the stimulus for the creation of their projects.
